Hi, I’m John.

Hello! I'm John Owolabi Idogun, a Software and Embedded Systems Engineer passionate about bridging the gap between secure backend architecture and physical hardware execution.

With an M.S. in Computer Science and a background in Computer Engineering, I specialize in scalable systems architecture, API development, and hardware-software integration.

My work currently spans the defense and aerospace sectors, where I troubleshoot mission-critical propulsion networks and analyze complex faults within Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) systems.

I'm especially drawn to system behavior analysis, vulnerability assessment, and low-level programming, utilizing a robust stack of Python, Rust, Golang, and C.

Current focus: Currently, I'm focused on developing secure, resilient software solutions for the defense sector, with a strong emphasis on cyber operations, embedded systems, and national security infrastructure.

How I work

Design for inspection

A system should make its health, boundaries and failure modes observable.

Respect the physical layer

Software decisions always land on real machines, networks, operators and constraints.

Make rigor transferable

Clear documentation turns individual understanding into team capability.
